Event Follow-up: Making Sense of the Trailer Bill

Where do we even begin? We are beyond thrilled by the turnout at the August 1 event! We had roughly 190 people fill the room to learn, participate, and engage in our first open public workshop with the California Growers Association --a strategic partner of the Humboldt County Growers Alliance. We truly appreciate everyone's presence and thoughtful questions. If you attended, we hope that you left the event with a greater understanding of how to navigate these challenging, yet exciting times for our industry.

We understand there is still quite a bit of trepidation, but know that the Humboldt County Growers Alliance is here for you—to represent your interests. Our goal is to listen and understand the needs and concerns of our members, hear your ideas and innovations, and help formulate a cohesive strategy for how to best effect cannabis policies, laws, and regulations as they’re being developed. By partnering with the California Growers Association a conduit for information between Humboldt and Sacramento is activated. Together, we work with lawmakers and stakeholders to provide relevant information to better inform decisions all while fulfilling our responsibilities to our members and mission.

Your participation allows us to help unify our voices—making our community strong and resilient. Click here to get more information about becoming a member of HCGA, which includes membership with CalGrowers.
