Humboldt County Releases New Cannabis Land Use Ordinance and EIR

On Friday, September 1, the Humboldt County Planning & Building Department released the Commercial Cannabis Land Use Ordinance and Draft Environmental Impact Report for public review. This starts a 45-day public comment period that kicks off with two workshops held at the Planning Commission in Eureka on Thursday, September 7 at 6:00 pm and Thursday, September 21 at 6:00 pm.  

The ordinance and EIR can be download at the County's website.

Permits issued under the CMMLUO shall remain valid and governed under terms of that ordinance. Holders of such permits may apply for state licenses for either medical and/or adult use license.
